Any update on crypto reform — still in limbo?
Key Gillibrand:
“We’re still working on a bipartisan basis,” Gillibrand exclusively tells Ask a Pol.

Matt Laslo: “How are you, ma’am?”
Kirsten Gillibrand: “Hi.”
ML: “Do you have any update on crypto? Is it still in limbo?”
KG: “We’re still working on a bipartisan basis.”
ML: “That’s not what I’ve been reading.”
KG: “No. It’s absolutely true.”
Gillibrand aide: “Really?”
KG: “No. Why? Who says that?”
ML: “I thought things were falling apart for a little bit?”
KG: “No, no, that was last week. This week we’re back on track.”
ML: “Everything’s good now?”
KG: “Yeah, yeah.”
Aide: “It’s always dark before the dawn.”
KG: “The staff has been working on a bipartisan basis all week, and I’ve been talking to our Republican counterparts about getting a meeting on the books for next week.”
ML: “Oh, yeah?”
KG: “I’m optimistic. We’re gonna keep…”
ML: “And this — so timeline’s back on for…?”
KG: “There’s no timeline, but there’s really a lot of goodwill.”
ML: “Yeah?”
Aide: “Priority’s getting it right.”
Senator’s Only elevator arrives.
KG: “Yeah.”
ML: “Awesome.”
They enter elevator.
ML: “Thank y’all.”
