Bill Hagerty: “If you just take a look at the calendar that we're looking at, the time is coming — the time is closing on this. So if we're going to have a deal it's going to have to be, it's going to have to be now. I think we're in broad agreement on a policy from a policy perspective.”
ML: "Yeah?”
BH: “And the question is whether it becomes another partisan issue, like it did last week.”
ML: "Do you have any concerns with the president and his family's crypto measures?”
BH: “Nothing in this bill…”
ML: "Or do you think that’s politics?”
BH: “That is completely irrelevant to this bill.”
ML: "Yeah?”
BH: “So...”
ML: "Are they getting that?”
BH: “That is just being used as a means to politicize what should be a, you know, what should be a nonpartisan issue.”
