“It's done,” Gillibrand exclusively told Ask a Pol Crypto Wednesday evening. “I got two more votes. I got [Sen. Andy] Kim (D-NJ), and [Sen. John] Hickenlooper (D-CO) joined our vote last vote, and then we'll have one more on final passage.* So we'll have at least all those vote yes.”
*unless an agreement is reached to speed things up, final passage is expected Tuesday.

“I’m hopeful. I do think that market structure is far more complex than stablecoin,” Gillibrand told us. “So I think it'll take a larger working group, and early review of early drafts to just try to get consensus earlier. It's gonna be a much heavier lift.”
